We all wear masks. Whether to fit in, avoid judgment, or protect ourselves from stigma, masking is a common but often hidden part of daily life. This interactive course explores why people hide parts of themselves and the impact masking can have on mental well-being, self esteem, and relationships. Through guided discussion and a creative activity to design symbolic masks, participants will reflect on the difference between the version of themselves they present to the world and their authentic selves while exploring the importance of self acceptance, vulnerability, and genuine connection. Participants will be encouraged to challenge the idea of “normal” and recognize that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
