Mental health is a core part of overall well-being, influencing how people think, feel, and navigate daily life. It goes beyond the absence of mental illness and includes emotional resilience, coping skills, and the ability to manage stress and challenges. This session explores the foundations of mental health, clarifies the difference between mental health and mental illness, and introduces practical strategies to support wellness in an introductory setting. Participants will learn tools for managing stress, navigating difficulties, and understanding recovery, empowering them to take an active role in maintaining their mental and emotional well-being.
