Music and creative expression can be powerful tools for supporting mental health, building confidence, and connecting with others. Music and Wellness is a six-week workshop series offered in partnership with CMHA and the Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts, designed to support participants in exploring their voice and creativity in a safe and welcoming space.
Participants will receive guidance on writing and rehearsing songs, developing performance skills, and building confidence on stage, including microphone technique and managing performance anxiety. There is also an opportunity to learn the basics of songwriting and create an original piece. Led by an experienced instructor, this series encourages self-expression, connection, and personal growth, with the option to share creative work in a supportive community setting.
