FAQ

Our education and training program provides:

  • Job skills development (resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, and employment retention plans)
  • Transitional Employment Program
  • CMHA Thompson’s Transitional Employment Program offers selected individuals the opportunity for low barrier, meaningful employment. This allows employees, who have experienced barriers to getting or keeping employment, to expand their capacities, increase confidence, and gain the skills they need. This can be a potential employees’ first time entering the work force or an opportunity to increase their skillset. The purpose of the Transitional Employment Program is to reduce the effects of anxiety, stress, and fear that comes with change. The right to meaningful employment is important to the life of a healthy community. Working can bring a sense of dignity and self-worth while engaging with customers and coworkers.
