OCD is a complex mental health condition that can have a significant impact on daily life. It involves unwanted, distressing thoughts called obsessions, along with repetitive behaviours or mental acts called compulsions that are used to reduce anxiety. This session offers a clear and approachable introduction to OCD, helping participants better understand how it shows up and affects thoughts, emotions, and routines. Participants will explore common signs and symptoms, learn about effective treatment options, and discover practical strategies for managing OCD. The session encourages greater awareness, reduces stigma, and supports a more compassionate understanding of this condition.
