This free, 1-hour course will explore how our eating habits and physical activity are related to mental health. Specifically, we will define self-compassion, explore how the three components of self-compassion relate to nutrition and physical activity, discuss barriers to improving nutrition and exercise practices, and share strategies and resources to overcome these barriers. After taking this course, students will be able to identify the impact of their eating and exercise habits on their mental health and make meaningful changes to these practices to improve their relationship with nutrition and exercise to facilitate greater mental health.
