Positivity is the practice of noticing and appreciating the good in life, even in small moments. Optimism is the tendency to expect positive outcomes and believe challenges can be overcome. Together, these skill shape thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in ways that support resilience and overall well-being. In this session, participants explore the connection between thoughts, actions, and emotional experiences, while learning about psychologist Barbara Fredrickson’s Ten Positive Emotions. Practical strategies are shared to help integrate these emotions into daily life, strengthen mindset, build resilience, and foster a more hopeful and positive outlook.
