This free, 2 session course (1½ hours per session) will identify the essential building blocks of communication, including an overview of communication styles, the importance of active listening, body language, and validation. Tips for conflict resolution will also be presented.

This course is part of our HOPE Learning Centre’s Recovery College program. The Learning Centre is open to all adult participants who wish to gain information and learn new skills to support their own mental health and well-being recovery journey. Participation in these classes also provides the opportunity to connect and share with others in a mutually beneficial peer support environment.
