Reducing Stigma and Promoting Respect:
Person-first language is significant in combating mental health stigma and creating an inclusive environment. Person-first language can help lessen stigma and unfavourable attitudes towards persons with mental illnesses.
This course explores the effects of stigma and how person-first language in mental health may be an effective strategy for encouraging positive attitudes toward individuals with mental illnesses.
