About the Talk Today program

Talk Today is one of Canada’s most comprehensive sports mental health and suicide‑awareness programs, helping young athletes and their supporters learn how to recognize warning signs, start a conversation, and connect someone to professional help.

Launched in 2014 and delivered in partnership with local Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) branches and sports organizations, the program includes evidence‑informed workshops, stronger pathways to care, and community awareness events at games and in schools.

Your donation keeps training accessible, builds capacity with coaches and team staff, and ensures more families know where to turn long after Suicide Prevention Day.
