DESCRIPTION:Many people struggle with loneliness\, yet it is rarely discuss
 ed in our society. This course will examine the stigma of loneliness and f
 ocus on the definitions and differences between loneliness and isolation. 
 The experience of solitude and its value will be explored. Strategies to m
 anage loneliness will be shared and students will be encouraged to gain pe
 rspective on the emotions associated with loneliness and isolation. We loo
